Meeting Room Chairs
About our range of meeting room chairs
Whatever business you’re in, you will probably need a space for meetings. That may be a conference or boardroom to a smaller space for impromptu get-togethers. You’ll probably need a meeting room table, and you’ll definitely need some seating! How you design the space will completely depend on your brand, but most business will want to reflect their brand in meeting rooms as much as everywhere else.
Before you choose furniture, ask yourself how you’ll use these meeting spaces. Do you need to entertain important clients? Or do you simply need some space for weekly staff meetings? Maybe you need both. Depending on your needs, the type of chairs you buy will differ. We have a wide range of chairs in various styles to make sure you find something suitable for your business.
If you have a conference or boardroom for entertaining important visitors you’ll probably want something that reflects your brand, is comfortable and long-lasting. The Swale meeting room chair is one of the most popular boardroom chairs, it is comfortable with a faux leather design, wave back and chrome finish. These can’t be stacked, so they’re more suited to a conference or boardroom. Faux leather is a popular choice when it comes to boardroom chairs, they look stylish and modern, are robust and easy to clean.
If you hold regular or long meetings choosing a mesh back design like the Luna, Logan or Voyager has its benefits. Meeting rooms can get stuffy and choosing a mesh fabric chair will allow more airflow through to help prevent employees get too hot. Upholstered boardroom chairs are still hugely popular as they are so durable and come in a wide range of colours and styles. Our Everest chair comes in a pack of 2 and has a tufted button designed backrest adding some style and colour to smaller meetings rooms.
After you’ve chosen the fabric and style, you’ll need to decide how many chairs you need. The first consideration will be the space you have to work with. Some chairs, like our padded cantilever chairs are a little bigger so take up a bit more space than a standard chair. If you already have a conference/meeting room table it’s worth estimating how many chairs can fit round it, you will want to make sure you’re not cramming people in, but that you have enough chairs should you need them. Check the dimensions of the chair and estimate what you’ll need - if you need help with this our sales team are more than happy to advise you over the phone.
Stacking Chairs for Meetings
If you don’t have a huge amount of space to work with stacking chairs are a great alternative. We offer both upholstered, plastic or wooden chairs which can be stacked out of the way and all are perfect for conferences or meetings – you just need to decide on the finish you want. If you tend to hold longer meetings you might want a chair with more padding so staff and visitors are comfortable and spend less time fidgeting. The Denali or Princeton chairs are perfect for this, they have comfortable padded backs and seats and can easily be stacked after use. If you simply need additional chairs for quick meetings or breakout areas the Harvard or Whitney chairs are a great choice.
