1. Working length – for Endless Slings this will be half the circumference measurement. For Flat Slings, soft eyes and metal fittings are included.
2. SWL – indicated by the colour of the sling. Round Slings also have stripes woven into the fabric, and each stripe represents 1000kg of working load limit. REMEMBER – the maximum SWL (safe working load) depends on the lifting mode adopted.
