The countersunk head makes its way through the wood with its polygonal lower part and can therefore be driven in without pre-drilling the hole. The square shape of the tip pushes back the wood fibers when screwing and creates a gap for the diameter of the screw body. The partial thread is ideally suited for fixing thin elements, such as panels, boards. Allows for fast and much more efficient work. Corrosion protection.
