Grade ‘10’ slings have an increased lifting capacity of 25% size for size over Grade ‘8’ slings, providing an increased level of safety. Slings manufactured from high tensile steel alloy. Heat treated to provide wear resistance and high fatigue strength. Easy and safe to handle. Conform to BS EN 818-4:1997. Slings supplied fitted with ring and hook. Slings measures 2m from the inside top of ring to inside of hook. Important information: The capacities quoted in the load charts are Working Load Limit (WLL), ‘defined as maximum safe working load’ – calculated by the uniform load method, i.e. 4 leg slings are rated as a 3 leg sling on the assumption that in many circumstances the load is effectively being lifted on 3 or 4 legs. WLL is calculated on a 90° angle for multi-leg slings. WLL stated is based on a 4:1 safety factor and for a temperature range of -40°C to +200°C. Test certificate conforming to statutory requirements supplied.

Grade ‘10’ slings have an increased lifting capacity of 25% size for size over Grade ‘8’ slings, providing an increased level of safety. Slings manufactured from high tensile steel alloy. Heat treated to provide wear resistance and high fatigue strength. Easy and safe to handle. Conform to BS EN 818-4:1997. Slings supplied fitted with ring and hook. Slings measures 2m from the inside top of ring to inside of hook. Important information: The capacities quoted in the load charts are Working Load Limit (WLL), ‘defined as maximum safe working load’ – calculated by the uniform load method, i.e. 4 leg slings are rated as a 3 leg sling on the assumption that in many circumstances the load is effectively being lifted on 3 or 4 legs. WLL is calculated on a 90° angle for multi-leg slings. WLL stated is based on a 4:1 safety factor and for a temperature range of -40°C to +200°C. Test certificate conforming to statutory requirements supplied.
