Part of this means installing clear and unambiguous signs which tell people where their escape routes are.<\/p>\n Escape signs like the ones seen on page 108 of the Government\u2019s document are what you need. Examples of these signs are available from Key here<\/a>.<\/p>\n You may not know but escape signs must be pictographic and not just contain text. An example of this sort of sign can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Health and Safety Law Statutory Notice<\/a> must be displayed prominently in every workplace in the UK. This could not be more important in a warehouse where things could go wrong.<\/p>\n Since the law came in this year, it has been illegal to not have this. As well as being a legal requirement, this sign is very useful to you and your employees if filled in correctly as it states clearly who is responsible for your health and safety at work.<\/p>\n This sign is also a legal requirement and also incredibly important to display in a place where everyone can see it. The sign tells you what to do and where to assemble and is vital to have. This is true especially if you are running a business where you do not know who is going to be in your building from day to day.
